Marco's Bio

With over 20 years of IT experience, Marco has a great understanding of what it take to implement solutions in the various industries. Marco has implemented solutions for different companies from different industries including Healthcare, finance, entertainment, biotech and legal services.

Marco joined e360 in August of 2016, after having worked for 14 years in the Healthcare IT industry. Prior to joining e360 Marco worked for an e360 client starting as as Desktop Support Engineer I, working through becoming a Desktop Support Engineer II within his first year, and before leaving became a System Administrator managing the PACS, providing support to the medical imaging departments and working closely with the Electronic Medical Records vendor to integrate it with the various applications.

While working in the Healthcare industry Marco worked with 3rd party medical application vendor to deliver applications used by Doctors and Nurses to deliver patient care. What Marco enjoys about his role as a Sr. Consultant is that he enjoys learning new technologies and providing e360 clients with solutions to implement cutting edge technology.

As Sr. Consultant at e360, I enjoy working with the various cutting edge technologies and I enjoy learning and expanding my skillsets. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with our clients and my team. Every day I continue to expand my skillsets to keep up with the always evolving technologies in the IT world.

Technical Engagements

Large (1000+) Healthcare

Implemented their Citrix VDI solution to delivery desktops and applications to the doctors and nurses. The solution included implementing Imprivata for SSO to allow doctors and nurses to access their VDI from the various endpoints at the hospital.

Large (1000+) Biotech

Designed and Implemented a solution to patch servers and windows devices without internet access and behind a firewall. As part of the solution I had design a way to be able to download the most recent available patches from Microsoft from a devices with internet access and delivery does patches to devices behind a firewall and no internet access.

Large (1000+) Biotech

Implement a solution to migrate all VDI desktops hosted in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops On Prem hosted on VMware and migrate all the desktops and user data to Azure and manage them on Citrix Cloud. As part of the solution we had to build a similar environment in Azure and gradually migrate the users and their data in various waves. On of the biggest challenges was to migrate Gigabytes of data on such a small maintenance windows while capturing the latest changes to the data performed by end users. We were able to overcome the challenge of tranferring the Gigabytes of data by creating a script leveraging AZCOPY that would compare the source and the destination and copying the necessary data.
